It comes with one key thing that other guitars do not come with, and that is a free 30 minute lesson with one of the Care2Rock instructors. This is amazing and I wish more guitar manufacturers would do this. It's a long journey learning to play the guitar and lessons are key. The finish is amazing. I like the color and it just feels like a high quality guitar. The guitar does hold its tune very well . . . the action is very nice for a new player. It's not too high or low and is very playable right out of the box.

Good guitar for beginners

I think this is a pretty solid guitar for most players looking for one to master before they move up to a more expensive one. The finger board is nice and it holds tune well. Overall a good investment for beginners and I think will provide me with a few good years of playing before I will need to move up to a higher level guitar.

I am 38 years old and new to playing. I bought this guitar because I also want to take lessons and Care2Rock provides that on their site. I tuned the guitar out of the box - it took me a minute to figure out but not too hard. I think this is a good solid purchase for a beginner guitar and I personally like the look/feel of the cutaway style. I'll update later after I start playing as to how the strings hold up . . .

This is a great beginner guitar! It plays like a real instrument, unlike a lot of 'beginner' guitars. Feels sturdy and is something that I enjoy playing and learning on. Even better that it is from a wonderful organization such as Care2Rock.

I haven't started the lessons yet, but I think it's brilliant that I can help inspire someone else while learning.
